- The company’s board has approved stock split from face value of Rs 10 to Rs 5.
- Bharti Airtel has announced its fourth quarter numbers of FY09. Its (US GAAP – generally accepted accounting principles) net profit increased 3.7% to Rs 2,239 crore versus Rs 2,159.3 crore on QoQ basis.
- Its net sales were up 2% at Rs 9,824.5 crore versus Rs 9,633 crore on QoQ basis.
- Its earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) margin was at 40.7% versus 41%.
- Its average revenue per user (ARPU) was at Rs 305 versus Rs 324 on QoQ basis. Its minutes of usage (MOU) came in at 485 versus 505.
- Bharti Airtel reported forex loss of Rs 236 crore versus Rs 220 crore on QoQ basis.
