Alstom Projects, one of the players in the power sector, has caught investors’ fancy. The counter with its efficiencies in operation and strong order book has attracted a lot of investor’s attention. Few of the big broking firms are quite bullish on the counter on account of better working capital management. The company’s order book stood at Rs 2,890 crore as on March 31, 2008, to be executed over the next 18-24 months. Of this, more than 95 per cent of the order book is from the power segment which gives a good revenue visibility to the company going forward. The healthy order book and strong revenue growth provides space for the short-term players to invest.
