GE Shipping leads gainers in ‘A’ group today
Great Eastern Shipping Company surged 6.62% to Rs 332.30 after the company signed a contract to buy a medium range (MR) product tanker. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE’s ‘A’ group.
Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) climbed 6.10% to Rs 88.65. The stock was the second biggest gainer in ‘A’ group. As per reports, the Prime Minister’s IT advisor Sam Pitroda has categorically ruled out any plans to merge Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) and MTNL.
Gujarat NRE Coke advanced 5.76% to Rs 90.85. The stock was the third biggest gainer in ‘A’ group.
