HDFC Standard Life IPO Anytime Soon?

Insurance company HDFC Standard Life is thinking about bringing an IPO.  Standard Life Chairman Gerry Grimstone visited recently and he mentioned that HDFC and Standard Life together are checking about the possibility of the business in near future in India and are willing to mull the IPO together. HDFC standard life IPO date is not fixed yet though and it’s not even pretty soon. This is the plan for next couple of years.

For your information: Gerry Grimstone is managing an 8 billion euro private equity fund, Candevour, which is set to shortly open an office in Mumbai.
