Record date for Sundaram Finance bonus issue is 25 August 2008
Sundaram Finance has fixed 25 August 2008 as the record date for the purpose of issue of bonus shares in the proportion of one equity share for every equity shares held.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 5 August 2008.

this is really stupid to reduce the value of share to more then half when the day came for issue of bonus shares in the proportion of one equity share for every equity shares held.
