Record Date – Reliance Bonus Shares
Reliance Industries (RIL) has recently announced 1:1 bonus. Board has also recommended Rs. 13 dividend. Thought he bonus news was unexpected, finally you got your shares doubled. Company announced bonus after 12 years. Last time, RIL announced bonus in September, 1997. Reliance Industry board might have taken this unexpected step (Bonus issue) to improve public image of the company in light of recent degraded image of company among investor community.
