Sanguine Media Sets Record Date for Rights Issue
Sanguine Media surged 4.24% to Rs 25.80 at 11:28 IST on BSE on setting record date for issue of equity shares on rights basis in the ratio of 1:1. The company made this announcement during trading hours today, 6 June 2008.
The stock hit a high of Rs 27.40 and a low of Rs 25 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 62.40 on 26 September 2007 and the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 14.25 on 24 March 2008. The small-cap company had outperformed the market over the past one month till 5 June 2008, declining 1.59% compared to the Sensex’s decline of 9.05%. It had also outperformed the market in the past one quarter, gaining 9.27% compared to Sensex’s decline of 1.29%. The company’s current equity is Rs 7.05 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
The current price of Rs 25.80 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 1.13, by a PE multiple of 22.83. Sanguine Media has fixed 23 June 2008 as the record date for issue of equity shares on rights basis in the ratio of 1:1, at a price of Rs 23 each including the premium of Rs 13. Sanguine Media’s net profit fell 76.7% to Rs 0.20 crore on 89.3% increase in net sales to Rs 5.85 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007. The company’s principal activity is to produce, market and distribute TV media, print media and direct marketing.
