Shipping Corporation on good Q1 numbers and bonus issue
Shipping Corporation of India shows growth of almost 36% in net profit in Q1 June 2008 over Q1 June 2007. The company announced the results on Saturday, 26 July 2008.
The stock gained on the quarterly numbers as well as the shipping corporation bonus issue news we have updated you on few days back. Remember, the company’s board also recommended issue of bonus shares in the ratio of one share for every two shares held. The CMP of the stock is Rs. 235. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 332 on 3 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 154 on 22 January 2008.
