Tea stocks gain on Rs 40 crore fund
Shares of tea producers gained momentum after the finance minister formed Rs 40 crore special support fund for tea. Parry Agro was up 3.76 per cent at Rs 1,989, Asian Tea Exports was up 2.85 per cent at Rs 41.45, Tata Tea was up 0.71 per cent at Rs 824.90, Assam Company was up 1.46 per cent at Rs 34.65, Harrison Malayam was down 2.86 per cent at Rs 89.85, Tezpore Tea share was up 1.02 per cent at Rs 74.45. Warren Tea share was up 1.78 per cent at Rs 80 and Mcleod Russel was down 1.26 per cent at Rs 78.60. Coffee would get funds amounting Rs 18 crore. Shares of Tata Coffee was up 1.43 per cent at Rs 281.05
